Subject: | [amigactive] DVD Playback |
Hi,
I've just bought a 16x Samsung DVD ROM (IDE).
After installing I checked a few CD's to make sure everything worked
as it did with my old 36x CDROM, and no problems:)
I then moved onto some DVD's, to my suprise Cache CDFS had no trouble
reading the files on the disks and displaying a couple of pictures on
it ( I thought this required a filesystem which supported DVD such as
Allegro CDFS?).
Playback via AMP2.03 seems to work fine , though somewhat slowly, I
understand this is largely down to the slow IDE interface (I use an
IDE Express adaptor).
Has anyone got any tips on speeding up playback? , i've tried
adjusting the cache settings in Cache CDFS without any luck:(
I imagine that DVD playback using AMP will work very nicely on the
Amiga ONE.
